        Whether your personal ad is online or in the traditional newspaper, you need to make it stand out if you want to catch the attention of a potential date. So what should you do to ensure your ad is exciting--not boring? Just follow these simple tips:

LET YOUR PERSONALITY SHINE THROUGH: 

       Are you the "class clown" type? Are you a studious bookworm? Whatever your personality, make sure it shines through in your ad. Include a little humor if you love to crack jokes, or reference classic literature if you're the intellectual type. By being yourself--and not trying to act like something you're not--you'll attract the right type of person with similar interests.
SKIP THE BASICS: We all love long walks in the rain, funny movies and "having fun." Make your ad personal by giving extra details, such as naming a favorite movie or describing specific experiences you enjoy. If you have an unusual passion or hobby (pottery, chess, sky-diving), make sure you mention it in your ad.

INCLUDE A "SNAPSHOT":
